y o l o :-)

Continuing on to Ibiza and staying near Dalt Villa, Ibiza old town.

After checking in to our hotel, off we went to a very serene and quiet beach called Es Torrent famous for serving up fresh seafood by the waters.

The first thing they served on the table, alioli :D At first I thought it was mayonnaise but it's soo much better than that. Made up of garlic, egg yoke, olive oil, lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt it tastes heavenly.

We ordered an entire john dory fish which was cooked on a massive tray. A retired British couple next to us ordered two glasses of gin, one bottle of red wine and a seafood paella to share followed by two glasses of sweet wine to finish. And they drove away on their own car afterwards.. wow!

Es Xarcu for a light snack: fried calamari, more alioli, salad and some gazpacho to share :)

After years of listening to J's cafe del mar music, I finally made it here to experience the sounds, sights and taste of this popular hang out. With one bottle of cava in each sangria, these are deadly :P

It's really nice to get there earlier because after 7:30pm this place gets packed from tourists all waiting to see the sunset.

Woohoo after having a few drinks, it's time to go parasailing for the very first time! Loved the music and drinks on board :)

Going up to 200 feet in the air. Had to admit I was kinda nervous before our turn but once you're up, it's really calm and relaxing.

Ibiza is obviously famous for its clubs and being a party town but there's a lot of places to explore on the island as well. Doesn't this kinda look like dinosaur's back?

Time for lunch :-P Tried our best not to overindulge on carbs because we were up for a big main course.

Seafood paella at Es Boldaldo. Our first paella in Spain and it was truly delish.

Off we go back to town, nice views when you walk up to the very top.

hehe.. We checked out Space and Amnesia.. Loved the music at Amnesia and had a truly fun night of dancing. Gotta say this was a pretty epic experience and the scale was beyond belief (compared to Hong Kong that is)

Look what I saw, someone brought their Canadian flag :]

And of course, some more good food to fill our tummies :)

Thee most amazing lobster club sandwich with crunchy buttered toast and plenty of bacon to compliment the soft avocado.

Crisis management kicked into high gear as I accidentally did a big booboo and booked the wrong flights on Ryanair. whew, what a terrible feeling. Luckily, thanks to Vueling we didn't have to stay overnight at the airport. Traveling can sometimes be pretty stressful but it's just like life..it begins when you're outside your comfort zone. :)
