A New Leaf

Pictures taken from our Oct and Nov shooting trip. Like the first time, we fly in on Friday night and stay for 2 nights in Alabang Bellevue Hotel.  Who would have known that I would enjoy shooting so much. Some people go to Taipei or Phuket for a short getaway trip but we go to Manilla instead :) I'm not the sharpest shooter but this last time I did qualify and pass the the grouping component of 10cm.

Our colleague Camille who holds a French passport checked in at the airport but was denied entry onto the plane because she was 2 days shy of having the 6 months validity. This is our picture of her clean target.

How not to walk whilst aiming.. like a robot or dinosaur 'stomp, stomp, stomp' :P

In our prone position.

My 5.11 tactical belt with the pouch and all. J had the high speed gear belt in multi cam color - looking spiffy

Sunset taken by J.

On the second day, we started doing some obstacle courses and this one was a sprint > crawl > M4 and glock. Omgosh crawling is so much harder than I thought.. my butt kept sticking up but everyone else was slithering like a snake.  With the gym at our place finally re-opened after 1 year of renovation I can't wait to start running & training to be stronger.   Ballet has definitely strengthened my legs but time to bring in some more cardio. *ROAR

I'm really looking forward to the new year as I've got a few things rolling but still waiting for some confirmation before I can do a mini-celebration dance.  Patience is virtue and I hope things work out for the better. You never know where your decisions might lead you, but I just know that it's time for a change.
