Moments that matter

Things change, people change as well as lots of changes in life. However, there's times like these where everything stand stills. Laughing and sharing old memories while also making new ones together :)

Seven years ago we took a photo that looked just like this one, everyone looks the same but better ;-)

The big day, congratulations gnz & cip~

With the beautiful bride :) I have to admit the orange dresses turned really nice in the photos. We were really worried that we would look like traffic cones hehe glad we pulled it off :P

A golden silence

Take me back to the pebbled beaches of Es Torrent, Ibiza. Dreaming of holidays far far away. A short drive from town, we discovered this quaint restaurant serving fresh seafood overlooking these calm waters. If we had to pick between the ocean and inland, we both love the waters. Our new large printed photograph :)

Sunset lasts for only a few minutes but long enough to remind you that how small we are in this universe.. Warmest summer sunsets from Sai Ying Pun.

World of infinite possibilities, calm after the storm from south side..

Outdoor yoga in the heart of Central, so this is how bikram yoga feels like.

Summer days and matcha ice cream :]

Always be thankful for what you have and never take things for granted. Stay positive and remember to take a step back.

The colourful road

Work, play, rest.. lots of friends and family gatherings in the past few weeks. I'm usually up and running at 8am on the weekends but now once a week on Saturday, I've been sleeping in till noon. That's sooo unlike me O___o" Guess it's a sign that I'm getting old and can't keep going by waking up at 7:30am seven days a week.

Hummus and my fav labneh (strained yoghurt creating a thicker consistency)...loving this flavour.

The best grilled cauliflower at Maison Libanaise with spicy harissa and lemon juice.

My first time doing outdoor yoga at West Kowloon, arms felt super sore the next day.

First time making egg salad sandwich at home. Pretty darn good with a dollop of mustard and a slice cheddar cheese. J and I have been watching That 70's Show and we always see Donna make sandwiches so off we went making our own version :)

Sweet Obsession cake pops, Munchies donuts and Sote popcorn *nomm.. This photo brings a big smile to my face.

Baby shower game #1.. Who knew guessing baby photos would be so hard. everyone looks the same!!

Celebrating Aunties bday at Atelier Vivanda. If you want the fluffiest sponge cake with matcha and a crunch, go to Arome!

With the Lee family celebrating Nowruz.

"Sale No Mobaarak" Happy new year in Persian :) New Year rituals uses the setting "Haft Seen" with seven specific items. In ancient times each of the items corresponded to one of the seven creations and the seven holy immortals protecting them. Now it's changed and different from family to family. All the seven items start with the letter "S" and are usually: Seeb (apple), Sabze (green grass), Serke (vinager), Samanoo (a meal made out of wheat), Senjed (a special kind of berry), Sekke (coin), and Seer (garlic). Sometimes instead of Serke they put Somagh (sumak, an Iranian spice).
At Kay and Charle's opening of The Vault in Wong Chuk Hang. Epic beer pong competition with some fierce opponents. In the final match, there was two rebuttals! Whew..super close.

I've never won anything before, it's such an amazing feeling *grinning from cheek to cheek. =)

Just like the good old days

One night in Bangkok before a 2.5 hr drive to the pier for a speedboat ride to Koh Samet for the Easter weekend. An early bachelorette gathering for gnz, relaxing and quality get together :)

Aww, bunnies in our cosy Cattleya suite.

Exploring the beach and discovering sleeping puppies *heart melts..

Feet tired? No problem.. just grab a coconut drink at the Friendly Bar heh

Totally missing Thai food especially the double dose of morning glory and tom yum kung soup every day. Can you tell we had a pretty fusion dinner on our first night.

Do you see what I see?

The durian crew versus the lone photographer standing far far away. heehee

Mango sticky rice served with a side of... photobomb :D

Although it was too cloudy to see the sunset, that's alright because they always say it's the journey that counts. ;-) We had a great time on a taxi that's been converted into a green pick-up truck, scouted a good restaurant for dinner along the way and got to see alot more of the island than just staying at our resort. I'm really glad we were able to go on this trip together.

A mojito bucket to share. We danced to bubbles and loud music but by 11pm sharp the party was over and the music was switched off completely. heh well we do like to sleep early and catch the french toast for breakfast..

Painting on our bride-to-be: stay weird / fat chix / mrs. farrow / anti-bride lol

Our final meal which we totally polished off everything including our mango sticky rice for dessert.

Torrential rain and winds on the final day, we thought we were going stranded at the pier and then miss our flight. After waiting for 45 minutes for the rains to slow down, we put on our 7-11 ponchos and covered our suitcases before we went on the craziest speedboat ride ever :)

Can you tell we had a fun ride? None of us fell overboard, we got to the airport early for Bon Chon's chicken (which btw tastes amazing!) and bought a healthy load of dried tamarind, Koh Kae and larb and tom yum kung flavoured Pretz. Happy days =)
