Back on land and nearing the end of our summer holidays. Before going back to HK, we stayed in Athens for two more days..
We stayed at the Grand Bretagne across from the Parliament Building. Although it's a prestigious place to stay, we've decided that we prefer to stay at a place with a little less...history.
Visiting the Acropolis Museum, a really great place to visit if you want to learn about the Parthenon and see many many excavated sculptures..
Lunch break :P
Wow look at all the different types of baklava.
Dinner at Tudor Hall Restaurant overlooking the amazing views.
Santorini salad with the sweetest tomatoes.
Moussaka with aubergine and tomatoes. It was a creamy and delicious dish :)

J's gyros of slow roasted pork.
At the National History Museum, Old Parliament - a gem to visit if you're close by, plus it's free on Sunday.
My first time seeing the Parthenon in person. This has been a very unique trip for me unlike previous ones, seeing all these famous sights is definitely an amazing historical experience.
Oo yeah that's a generous portion of meat and tzatziki sauce =)
Stuffed bell peppers and tomatoes, definitely one of my favs :D
The spontaneous side of us decided to try Persian food in Athens :P Took a taxi to the suburbs and had some very hearty food.
One last glimpse of the beautiful skyline. Travelling and visiting new places is such a nice break from reality. Wonder what its like to travel for a whole month or even half a year. It must be so nice to let the foreign land envelop you and be the queen of relaxation where Mondays don't mean anything, no emails or schedules to follow except to simply follow your heart (or guide book). =P
