I want to test how long it takes for me to go from the 108 hollywood road to exch square at a walking vs. running pace. hahaa I think I could clock under 15 minutes in heels and maybe 10 minutes in flats :P
Yves - u haven't seen me run before.. I could be an undiscovered bolt. =P
This past weekend, I have never laughed so hard over the timespan of 100 minutes.. My laugh-o-meter reached its critical level. *chuckles

Had the mediterranean quiche and latte at agnes b. la loggia cafe because simply life was packed. Nice snack and chat before foot massage. Dinner followed closely after at Press Room which I still *heart! okok I have to admit the service (not the waiter/waitress' attitude) but the food serving etiquette is somewhat lacking. They need to learn how to properly place food on the table and pour wine. However, regardless of that I still love love love this place to bits. The interior design is warm yet simple and I guess I have a thing for dark brown wood in contrast to white walls. It's also got an airy feeling because of the high ceilings and if you have brunch there, you'll get a totally different dining experience. I quite like the food as well. This time I had the asparagus with hot hollandaise sauce and the roasted salmon cooked to perfection at medium~ I've noticed that I tend to lean towards seafood rather than dark meat for dinner time. Nevertheless, the baby chicken looked and tasted good as was the poached sole bonne femme even though I don't think its enough for the big boys. Last time I had the smaller sized lobster risotto and yeah if I was famished, it wouldn't be enough even though it's quite rich and creamy. <3 This time for dessert we tried the made to order crêpe suzette with vanilla ice cream. Basically a french dessert with hot sauce comprised of carmelized sugar, butter, oranges and grand marnier - flambéed. How drool worthy does that sound? Looks unappealing but tastes wow pucker nom!! hehe Hot chocolate cake was nice too with it not being too sweet but the crepe was defin the underdog winner.

My gear. =D Hilarious thing is that when we got to the beach via chug boat, we were all excited, rolled up our t-shirt sleeves, saw the extremely packed beach but w/e it's sunny who cares that we can practically smell our neighbors feet but the moment we laid out our mats, the lifeguard says "ATTENTION ATTENTION EVERYONE, we may soon encounter
winds and rain in the next little while, please tie your umbrellas tightly to prevent......blah blah" Mman. my brain was not registering what he said because it was just that unbelievable. I can get excited, jumpy and restless when it comes to tanning (haha really) so to be all hyped up along the way but to suddenlly hear AND have evidence of clouds rolling in is just not cool for pegmeister. Luckily we did get a peek-a-boo level of sunshine but obviously not to the intensity level one would have desired. However, I've realized and am v. proud to say that I'm an easy UV ray absorber. I think I tanned a notch. yay muahhahaa v~

Maybe I'm not thinking on the same wavelength but I don't really get why some ppl sit under their borrowed umbrellas and don't seem to budge from underneath it. What's the point of going to the beach then? Kindof a waste to me.. =( And was it me or did I see alot of people w/ tattoos at this beach? lol I don't mind tattoos at all but when their designs are kinda scary looking then yeah look quickly away! lil intimidating.

Side note to self..I really should finish reading these books before I keep on buying new ones. My bad.
Pure exhaustion from this weekend. Looking forward to the next already. heh.
